01. ABOUT THE STORY OF ARTIST NICKY
I've been painting since I was eleven years old. I wasn't able to make great paintings yet but I was always still drawing. I love art so much! I could remember I imagined being able to draw all kinds of things. I wanted to be a real painter and Artist someday. I would picture what love looks like visually in my mind and how it can be captured through paper or on a canvas. I started then making silhouettes of all different kinds of lovers. Couples together on the beach or sitting in the sunset.
02. STORY OF AN ARTIST
My art started growing and I wanted to be able to start painting. I never could paint I would just sketch all the time. But I prayed and asked God one day and said: "I want you to teach me how to paint? I could sketch and draw.. but I would love mostly to be able to paint." I then began practicing each time I would draw, painting. It always came out awkward or weird but I tried working on nature. I remember my first nature paintings were so beautiful when they were finished.
03. COMPLETION OF ARTIST STORY
I still have them in my room until this day. I could say all things are truly possible when God is on your side. Step by Step he took me through the process of painting as he did when I learned to draw and sketch faces for the first time. I still have some trouble perfecting this ability but I've learned that art is more of your "spirit" involved in the artwork then all the details of creating it. Each time I would paint God gave me his power to bring my whole heart into it and its how I create artwork to this day.
